Even more than coffee, I love starting my day with fruit. Last week, I shared a couple of my go-to breakfast smoothie recipes. They are life-savers when it comes to saving time on busy mornings.
Today, I’d like to tell you all about a couple more easy breakfast ideas Justin and I enjoy. One of them is a toasted granola, fruit and yogurt breakfast bowl. The other is spreading fruit and yogurt on a couple pieces of whole wheat toast to make a fruit pizza/bruschetta. Both of these are crunchy, chewy and oh-so-good!
Yogurt is a great source of calcium and protein; whole wheat toast and oats give you fiber. Plus, what’s better than real fruit as a healthy start to the day?
Our go-to yogurt is Yoplait Fruitful. Fruitful is simply real fruit and yogurt.
Each 6-oz cup features 1/3 cup of fruit and the flavors include pineapple, strawberry, mango pineapple & orange, blueberry, peach, and cherries & red berries.
